Web series on streaming platforms have guaranteed a much higher emotional investment for both the cast and the audience, who try to get involved in the characters. However, their sequels are rarely as gripping as the original first season of episodic development. And for that reason, I, for one, am a bit skeptical about watching the next season with the same enthusiasm as the last one. Unless it is made in heaven,

Review: Made in Heaven Season 2
The second season of this series is worth watching and although there is nothing new in its story, the production value, excellent writing and brilliant acting from all the actors make it interesting.
made in heaven Season 2 shows what India is today. Conservative on one side and modern in many ways on the other, with traditional people having progressive thinking who have to deal with conflicting ideas at every step.
The show has often been accused of being a show aimed at the rich and affluent. At the same time, its protagonists deal with everyday emotions, hard work and troubles, as well as dilemmas that every common man faces. Sometimes contradictory stories intertwine with each other, and that’s the real fun of watching this incredible series.
Made in Heaven Season 2 It continues six months after the Season 1 finale. In what seems like yet another struggle for the entire team of wedding planners to execute their carefully thought-out plans and please their clients, the unusual demands of some very interesting, powerful, rich, glamorous men and women force the hard workers to face a nail-biting urgency while trying to accommodate dates, locations and budgets.
For both Tara Khanna (Sobhita Dhulipala) and Karan Mehra (Arjun Mathur), planning a big-budget wedding is not as profitable as it has been in the past.
Tara’s life is even more complicated. She wants to file for divorce and Jim Sarbh is willing to help her, while his current girlfriend (Kalki Koechlin) is in the family way.
But all is not lost. The savior is Ramesh Johri (Vijay Raaz), whose timely intervention buys a third of their business, but also saves them from bankruptcy. Johri offers his old house to make them their new office, as their old office has been vandalised and destroyed.
His wife Bulbul Johri (Mona Singh) joins the organisation as an auditor to save him. Apart from being strict about book keeping, she always insists on cutting corners.
All the episodes feature a couple planning a wedding for themselves, with Tara and Karan dancing to please their clients and fulfilling their every demand.
As expected, there are multiple issues in every household waiting for the wedding bells to ring. If there is a female film actress who is engaged to a chauvinistic rich man who beats her, there is also a 25-year-old man who abandons his plans to study at Berkley to propose to a woman 10 years older than him. Another is a rich Muslim wife (Dia Mirza) whose husband (Praveen Dabas) has no qualms about polygamy and ties the knot again.
The seven-part series has a lot to say about relationships, with some of the characters exploring sexual orientation in search of a partner. It also features a transgender, Meher (Trinetra Haldar), who proudly asserts her identity, leading a straight guy (Neil Bhoopalam) to fall in love with her.
It is not new that she leads a team in the company. Like other employees who help Tara and Karan in the troubled office, especially Jaspreet ‘Jazz’ Kaur (Shivani Raghuvanshi) and Karan Basrai (Shashank Arora), Meher also contributes to solving bigger problems from time to time.
Almost all the episodes raise many complex but everyday issues that affect people and relationships. At times, bordering on preachy, some scenes go beyond being believable and tolerable. But it is the quality of the actors that rises so high that some flaws are almost overlooked.
From Dhulipala, Mathur, Koechlin, Radhika Apte to Shivani Raghuvanshi, Shashank Arora, Ishwak Singh, Vijay Raj and Jim Sarbh, the entire star cast has played their roles well. But Trinetra Haldar and Mona Singh have grabbed the most attention.
Weddings are lined up for various couples as we are introduced to Adheera Arya (Mrunal Thakur); Kriti Malhotra (Neelam Kothari); Ashok Malhotra (Sanjay Kapoor); Gulshan Raina (Sameer Soni); Gargi Raina (Naina Sareen); Leela Shirazi (Elnaaz Norouzi); Amber (Parul Gulati); Pallavi Menke (Radhika Apte); Aditi (Shibani Dandekar); Radhika Sharma (Sheena Khalid); Wasim (Parvin Dabas).
made in heaven Season 2 has been made on a grand scale that does justice to the lifestyle of the rich families living in the national capital. Cinematographer Nikos Andritsakis has done a wonderful job of enhancing the luxurious interiors of each set. Along with the glitz and glamour, the camera also gives us late-night glimpses of Gurugram’s satellite cities.
